Donghu MRT: Take both mornings and afternoon hours, or just afternoon hours. 930-1130a is Montessori kindy (teacher is in charge of “English station” and must do circle time), teaching K1-K3 in small groups, with Chinese teacher assistance. 230-530pm is anchinban. No Tuesdays. ARC available. 600-650/hour, depending on experience. School is seeking someone really easy to communicate with, loves children and gentle. Female teacher with some experience is preferred. Interview now ASAP.
2. Shi-Lin and Nei-Hu areas: Best-known cram school chain needing teachers at several of their branches. Guaranteed 80hours per month, but usually around 100, working afternoons-evenings, and Saturdays. Pay is 600/hour with semiannual performance-based raises available. Training, curriculum and ARC given by school. No experience necessary. First-time teachers are very welcome! 3 POSITIONS AVAILABLE.
3. Linkuo, Taipei County, near the Chang-Gun Memorial Hospital: GREAT FULL TIME BUXIBAN POSITION! Brand-new, upscale franchise cram school teaching elementary school students. Small class sizes. Experienced, self-motivated, flexible, and energetic teacher is preferred, because they want someone who can assist the new school with enrollment activities and demo lessons, but not required. A. Full time position: Working 11am-8pm, around 56000-60000NT/month, depending on number of classes they have for you. School will subsidize housing so your rent is less than 10 % of your monthly income! Wow! Many great benefits additionally including holidays, free meals, semester performance bonuses, and contract completion bonus. B. Part time position: 430-600pm, 700NT/hour. TWO POSITIONS AVAILABLE.
4. Xizhi, close to Xike Train Station: Great benefits offered at this school, NEWBIE TEACHERS PREFERRED! Large individually-owned Kindy/Buxiban with very fast-paced and challenging curriculum is seeking a teacher, first-time, male teacher preferred. Full time teacher enjoys unparalleled benefits in Taipei: FREE accommodation, fair pay, with big opportunity to grow into management level. Awesome school, great for someone who really wishes to become a great teacher. You can be placed at either positions, depending on your suitability: 1. Day Care Teacher: teaching elementary students. Hours are noon – 7pm, M-F, with additional buxiban hours 7-9pm available as well. Intense program with high results and excellent English proficiency. 2. Kindergarten position: Teach at Kindy Department 8-3pm, Mon-Fri. Very fun program, with great results. Monthly salary is 50,000/month. Can give additional buxiban hours after 2-3 months if teacher proves to be capable of so many hours. No experience necessary, but the teacher must be willing to work hard, cooperate as a team player, and focus on the students.
